It has been over a year for me,I still have severe dizziness,muscle pain in arms and ankle,pain in left eye if I use it too much like reading and twitching of muscles.I had nothing wrong with my health before Levaquin.

A a year and a half after taking Levaquin for only 4 days, I still have lots of pain in my hips and thighs. It is difficult to stand up and walk without leaning on someone or something. I have constant ringing in my ears and my eyesight has deteriorated rapidly. My doctor does not believe that the Levaquin caused these problems but they began to happen almost immediately after taking the first pill. Before that I was a very healthy person with lots of energy.

Prescribed Levaquin as an anti-infective following minor surgery for a soft tissue infection, my 79-year-old Mother began experiencing supressed panis attacks, acute nervousness, dizziness and nausea, within 3 hours of her first 500mg dose.

tendonitis, horrible pain in both ankles. Crippling, in a wheel chair, ankle in cast. Overall body aches and pains, anxiety disorders, neuropathies. not fun. don't take and don't take with any cortisone product will double your side effects.

I had trouble getting my heels to stretch so I could stand on my foot, had to walk on my toes when I first got up or suffer severe pain in the ankles. My uncle has had ruptured tendons from Levaquin.

7 days into my Levaquin I began suffering panic attacks, severe dizziness, tinnitus, severe muscle pain, visual problems, nausea, difficulty walking, huge mouth sores, severe body aches and pains, sweating, insomnia, night terrors, seizures, and on and on. One year later I am still suffering from some of these.

I started having simple partial seizures from the first dose of levaquin. I've developed a host of problems since then including muscle/joint pain, cataracts, osteoporosis, difficulty with digestion and appetite.

race. Afterwards I had ankle and foot pains, and severe
tendinitis in both of my achilles tendons. It's only now
improving a month after the long run. Possibly patients
should be warned against great physical exertion.

I don't think this is a new side effect, but I don't see a list here anywhere. I have terrible joint and muscular pain all over my body after taking 10 days of Levaquin for kidney infection. Although I finished the medicine 3 days ago, the pain it still intense. I also have intermittent ringing in my ears and other symptoms. It is interfering in my life and I resent not being told the risks before I took it.
