I finished a 10 day course of Levaquin a week ago. Three days after taking it I started having bladder spasms. No direct connection was made, but the spasms got worse. I finally quit the dose early ( I was supposed to take it for 14 days) The spasms got more intense, and I started having weird muscles spasms, aches and pains, and a general feeling of weakness. These seemed to go away, thought he spasms continued. In the last day or two I have started having really intense anxiety, as well as a felling of pressure between my eyes, and a feeling of everying being "off." The muscle pains and aches have come back also. My doctor agrees that it is Levaquin poisoning, and gave me Detrol LA for the bladder spasms. I thought that it was making me anxious, so I stopped talking it, but the anxiety continues. I also took a Xanax for the anxiety last night, but it seemed to make all of my symptoms worse. Can anyone help me with some info. How long will this last? I am so scared that there has been permanent neruological damage to my body. I have a little boy, I was healthy and active before this. Any words of support welcome.
