Am J Health Syst Pharm 2003 Dec 1;60(23):2479-83 (ISSN: 1079-2082) Gandhi PJ; Menezes PA; Vu HT; Rivera AL; Ramaswamy K Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, 19 Foster Street, Worcester, MA 01608, USA. pgandhi@mcp.edu. Patients initiated on fluconazole and levofloxacin should be closely monitored for QTc-interval prolongation. While there have been published reports of fluconazole and levofloxacin causing QTc-interval prolongation when given alone, coadministration of these two agents may further increase this risk.
